
LME aluminium prices posted a steady uptick on November 26 across cash, 3-month and forward contracts, while exchange inventories slipped slightly compared with the previous session.

On November 26, the LME aluminium cash bid and offer stood at USD 2,822 per tonne and USD 2,822.50 per tonne, up from USD 2,786.50 and USD 2,787 per tonne on November 25. This reflects a day-on-day increase of about 1.27 per cent in both bid and offer prices.
The 3-month contract also strengthened, with the bid and offer at USD 2,848 per tonne and USD 2,848.50 per tonne, compared with USD 2,813 per tonne and USD 2,815 per tonne a day earlier, marking rises of around 1.24 per cent and 1.19 per cemt respectively.
The December 2026 contract continued this upward trend. On November 26, it settled at USD 2,878 per tonne for the bid and USD 2,883 per tonne for the offer, compared with USD 2,852 per tonne and USD 2,867 per tonne on November 25. The bid increased by 0.91 per cent, while the offer rose by around 0.56 per cent.

The LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price for November 26 was reported at USD 2,861 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stocks edged down from 543,725 tonnes on November 25 to 541,725 tonnes on November 26, a decline of about 0.37 per cent. Live warrants were unchanged at 484,100 tonnes, while cancelled warrants slipped from 59,625 tonnes to 57,625 tonnes, down by roughly 3.36 per cent.
The LME alumina Platts price was assessed at USD 319.15 per tonne.
