
LME aluminium opened at US$2,788 per tonne on Wednesday and closed at US$2,836 per tonne, up US$49.5 per tonne or 1.78 per cent.

LME aluminium cash bid price expanded by US$51 per tonne or 1.87 per cent to score at US$2,765 per tonne. LME aluminium official settlement price also witnessed growth by US$50.5 per tonne or 1.86 per cent to settle at US$2,765.50 per tonne as of June 8.
3-month bid price and 3-month offer price soared up by US$52.5 per tonne or 1.91 per cent and US$53 per tonne or 1.93 per cent to close at US$2,797 per tonne and US$2,798 per tonne.
December 23 bid price and December 23 offer price for the same day halted at US$2,755 per tonne and US$2,760 per tonne, after dropping by US$47 per tonne or 1.73 per cent.
LME aluminium opening stock stopped at 434000 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants stood at 189325 tonnes and 244675 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian reference price went up by US$5.54 per tonne or 0.20 per cent to score at US$2,773.32 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Thursday, June 9, the benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased by US$5 per tonne or 0.16 per cent to come in at US$3,124 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2207 aluminium closed down 0.38 per cent or RMB 80 per tonne to RMB 20,755 per tonne, with open interest up 6,229 lots to 181,567 lots.
Overnight, the most-traded SHFE 2207 aluminium contract opened at RMB 20,805 per tonne, with its low and high at RMB 20,775 per tonne and RMB 20,950 per tonne before closing at RMB 20,950 per tonne, up RMB 195 per tonne or 0.94 per cent.
