LME aluminium opened at US$2,517 per tonne, hit a high of US$2,539.5 per tonne, a low of US$2,505.5 per tonne, and closed at US$2,506.5 per tonne, down US$8.5 per tonne, a decrease of 0.34 per cent.
{alcircleadd}On Tuesday, September 17, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price inched up by US$0.5 per tonne or 0.01 per cent to clock at US$2,505 per tonne and US$2,505.50 per tonne. As per the LME price graph, 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price moved up by US$1 per tonne or 0.03 per cent and US$2.5 per tonne or 0.09 per cent to stand at US$2,519 per tonne and US$2,521 per tonne.
December 25 bid price and December 25 offer price added US$3 per tonne or 0.11 per cent to arrive at US$2,618 per tonne and US$2,623 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock came in at 813500 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants stood at 349975 tonnes and 463525 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price dipped by US$1.73 per tonne or 0.06 per cent to settle at US$2,495.90 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Wednesday, September 18, the SHFE aluminium benchmark price gained US$19 per tonne or 0.61 per cent to clock at US$2,794 per tonne. On the previous trading day, the most-traded SHFE aluminium 2410 contract opened at RMB 19,775 per tonne, reached a high of RMB 19,830 per tonne, a low of RMB 19,720 per tonne, and closed at RMB 19,745 per tonne, unchanged from the previous closing price.
