As part of the leadership transition, Stuart A. Taylor II, currently Ball’s Lead Independent Director, has been elected as Chairman of the Board. In a statement, he expressed his appreciation for Fisher’s tenure, mentioning his role in steering the company through a challenging environment.

Industry experience shaping Ball’s future direction

Commenting on the new appointment of Ball Corporation, Taylor said, “Looking ahead, we are confident that Ron is the right leader to advance Ball’s strategy and strengthen our culture and market leadership. With his strategic vision, commitment to operational excellence, deep understanding of Ball’s business, and strong customer relationships, Ball will continue to grow and deliver value for our customers, employees, and shareholders. We are proud to name Ron as the 13th CEO in Ball’s 145-year history.”

Lewis joined Ball in 2019 as President of the company’s Europe, Middle East and Asia beverage division and has served since 2024 as Chief Supply Chain and Operations Officer, overseeing global manufacturing, procurement, logistics, engineering, and operational excellence. During his tenure, he has led several initiatives to improve supply chain agility, enhance production efficiency, and expand the company’s global footprint.

Before joining Ball, Lewis was Chief Supply Chain Officer at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners and previously held senior roles within the Coca Cola system. Earlier in his career, he worked in supply chain and procurement leadership positions at Mars Incorporated and Cargill.
