In November 2025, Hindalco Industries Limited promoted Kopal Agrawal to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its aluminium downstream business. In this role, she is responsible for driving the strategic growth, operational excellence, innovation and customer-centric expansion across domestic and international markets, spearheading the company’s downstream aluminium business.

Having worked for diversified industries like Metals & Mining, Oil & Gas, and Banking, Ms Agrawal has a strong cross-industry experience for over 20 years in procurement, transformation, and large-scale business operations. 

Her elevation to such a responsible position in Hindalco reflects the company’s strong confidence in her leadership capabilities.

She first joined Hindalco in 2018 in a business transformation role, where she led projects across sustainability, recycling, and strategic project management. Then she was moved to the procurement vertical in 2020.

Before Hindalco, she spent 14 years at Schlumberger, serving as Business Head for one of its largest Indian subcontinent verticals. Holding a degree in Chemical Engineering with a Master’s in Management from Birla Institute of Technology & Sciences, Pilani, Ms Agrawal is also part of the Advisory Committee of Women in Energy.
