Tokyo-based motorbike innovator Kawasaki is about to launch its 2023 KX250 dirt bike in India, which has an aluminium skeleton and is extremely lightweight.

The Kawasaki KX250 is a track-only dirt bike and has undergone various upgrades for the 2023 model. The bike is structured around an aluminium perimeter frame and displays the legendary Renthal aluminium Fatbar. Besides the aluminium fat bar, the footpegs and the shrouds are all extremely strong, making the 2023 KX250 dirt bike a sturdy ride.
The shiny aluminium in the bike’s framework makes it lighter, just 108 kgs, and attracts enthusiastic young minds for adventurous rides. Aluminium is infinitely recyclable, so at the end of life, each bike can be sent in for particular recycling processes separating the vehicle's components.
Among other specifications, one can find the 249cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke engine that offers finger-follower valve actuation, a higher rate for the valve spring, revised intake or exhaust ports and a reframed combustion chamber.
The bike also features a flatter piston crown, a redesigned crankcase, a hydraulic clutch, new gearing, launch control with three embedded engine maps and enhanced ignition timing. Some other changed specifications are broader footpegs, new tires, revised suspension settings and a long exhaust top.
The Kawasaki KX250 would be imported to India via the CBU route, which is used for shipments having international value and other luxury items.
