Kaiser Aluminum delivered stronger-than-expected second-quarter results, with revenue and earnings comfortably exceeding analysts' forecasts as demand across its value-added aluminium products business remained robust.
{alcircleadd}The company reported earnings per share (EPS) of USD 5.53 for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, more than double the consensus estimate of USD 2.66.
Quarterly revenue climbed 52.7 per cent year on year to USD 1.26 billion, surpassing analysts' expectations of USD 1.12 billion. During the same period last year, Kaiser Aluminum reported EPS of USD 1.21.
Institutional investors expand holdings
Investor interest in the company also remained strong during the quarter.
Jennison Associates LLC disclosed a new investment in Kaiser Aluminum after acquiring 6,271 shares during the first quarter, valued at approximately USD 756,000, according to its latest filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
Institutional investors now own 99.29 per cent of Kaiser Aluminum's outstanding shares.
Several investment firms also adjusted their positions in the company over recent quarters, while analysts currently maintain a consensus "Hold" rating with an average target price of USD 165.50.

Dividend maintained
Kaiser Aluminum declared a quarterly dividend of USD 0.77 per share, payable on August 14, 2026, to shareholders on record as of July 24, 2026.
The dividend represents an annualised payout of USD 3.08 per share, equivalent to a dividend yield of approximately 1.9 per cent.
Insider transactions
The company also reported several insider share sales during the quarter.
Director Brett Wilcox sold 15,000 shares on April 27, 2026, for approximately USD 2.62 million, reducing his ownership by 60.27 per cent.
Director Richard P. Grimley sold 1,524 shares on April 29, 2026, valued at approximately USD 261,400, reducing his stake by 24.98 per cent.
Overall, company insiders sold 71,731 shares worth approximately USD 12.53 million during the quarter, while continuing to hold around 1.30 per cent of the company's outstanding stock.
