
Kaiser Aluminum has confirmed a leadership change within its commercial team, naming Hugh (Jack) J. Barger III as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, effective from January 1.

The appointment forms part of a planned succession process and follows the decision of Blain A. Tiffany, the company’s current Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, to retire in the near term. Mr Barger will assume full responsibility for the role as the transition is completed.

Mr. Barger has stepped into the position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Since then, he has progressively taken on wider duties within the commercial organisation, preparing for the leadership handover.
Commenting on the appointment, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer Keith A. Harvey said the move reflects both continuity and long-term planning. He noted that Mr Barger has steadily expanded his remit since joining the company and brings the experience needed to lead the sales and marketing function into its next phase.

Mr Barger brings extensive industry experience of more than 25 years in the metals sector. Previously, he had his stint as the President of Central Steel & Wire till 2024 and also the Sales VP of the same company. His career also includes senior leadership roles at A.M. Castle & Company.
Kaiser Aluminum said the appointment ensures a smooth transition within its commercial leadership while maintaining focus on customer engagement and market growth.
