
The world's largest solar panel manufacturer, JinkoSolar Holding Company has publicized the details of multi-project silicon pull rod, module assembly and aluminium frame expansion in China, which the manufacturer is planning to infuse a compounded amount of $3.3 billion (RMB20.8 billion).

Jiangxi Jinko, the ‘Solar Module Super League’ member and the operating subsidiary, which listed on China’s STAR Market earlier in 2022, on 18th March, unveiled two separate deals inked with counterparties comprising municipal governments and regional bodies in both Qinghai and Jiangxi
Jinko stated, “We had entered into a project investment cooperation framework with local development entities in Qinghai and Xining to construct a 20GW monocrystalline silicon pull rod project at a total investment value of $1.6 billion (RMB10 billion).
However, the project is to be developed in two phases, the initial will to establish a 20GW silicon pull rod facility with an investment value of RMB7 billion and the construction work of the first phase is to commence from next month.

While the second phase with a capacity of 10GW is to initiate construction work either in 2023 or 2024.
Furthermore, Jiangxi Jinko also unfolded to have inked an agreement with Shangrao Guangxin District Government to establish both module assembly and aluminium frame production facilities in Jiangxi.
Comprehensively, 24GW of module assembly capacity will be deployed in Shangrao City across the phase of three years. At the juncture of one of the projects, it will establish an 8GW module plant which is anticipated to resume for ramp in mid-December 2022 ahead of enhancing fully functional in June 2023. In the upcoming phases, it will each manifest an 8GW capacity addendum, with construction work expected to begin in Q4 2023 and Q3 2025 respectively.

According to the company, the third phase of the module facility will also tally with the development of the aluminium frame project that will correspond to have an annual capacity of 100,000 tonnes.
