Jiaxin New Materials Company marks a robust start to 2024 with the production of A356 aluminium alloy ingots

China-based Jiaxin New Materials Company successfully anchored its target tasks through scientific planning and efficient production organisation in the first quarter. The company achieved 102.92 per cent of its operating income goal, 105.1 per cent of its total industrial output value target, and 125.9 per cent of its profit objective.

Additionally, comprehensive processing costs decreased by 34 per cent compared to 2023, marking a robust start to the year. The company also unlocked a significant milestone this year in May by successfully developing and producing A356 aluminium alloy square ingots.

The company's achievements so far

Dongxing Jiaxin New Materials has adopted a working concept centred on production orders, equipment, and primary business support. The company has vigorously implemented the "zero impact" equipment management initiative, arranged reasonable maintenance plans, and continuously improved the point verification repair system. As a result, the effective utilisation rate of production equipment has surpassed 99.8 per cent.

Dongxing Jiaxin New Materials Company is unwavering in its commitment to product excellence. The company has implemented stringent quality control measures from the initial stages of production, including pre-furnace batching and refining process implementation. By selecting high-quality refining agents, rigorously controlling casting speed and temperature, and closely monitoring temperature changes at both the pan head and pan tail, the company ensures superior casting quality. 

Emphasis is placed on process inspection to strictly manage the surface quality of casting rods strictly, guaranteeing a 100 per cent factory pass rate and steadily improving customer satisfaction. These efforts provide robust support for achieving the first quarter profit targets. In the first quarter, the company exceeded its planned product output, achieving 103.53 per cent of the target, with the product yield consistently remaining above 94 per cent.

Jiaxin New Materials adopts a different production mode

Jiaxin New Materials has adopted a single-furnace, double-line, continuous production mode to reduce production costs. This approach significantly decreases pre-furnace heating time and lowers natural gas consumption. The precise addition of titanium boron wire has notably improved the absorption rate of alloy additives, optimised the size of the cutting head and tail, and reduced resource waste. As a result, energy consumption has been reduced from 25m³/t to less than 12m³/t.

Additionally, in response to market demand, the company has ramped up its research and development efforts, successfully developing new product lines such as 3003, 6005, and 6005B alloys. The company has also completed small batch trial production of A356 aluminium alloy square ingots.

Moving forward, Jiaxin New Materials will continue to optimise production processes and reduce energy consumption. The company will also strengthen its technological research and product development to consistently enhance its products' added value and market competitiveness, thereby injecting new momentum into the group's high-quality development.
