EDITED BY : 2MINS READ

ISA Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, has announced the construction of its much-awaited 45-metre Granturismo series. This will be the third unit of the flawless series where the hull and superstructure were recently joined at the shipyard's Ancona facility.

Sold to a European buyer in 2024, the all-aluminium yacht is set for delivery in 2026. Its exterior and interior design are the work of Team For Design - Enrico Gobbi, while the in-house team handled the naval architecture.

Initially resembling its sisterships, including I AM (formerly UV II) — a finalist at the 2024 BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards — the yacht has undergone substantial customisation to meet the owner's specific preferences.

The yacht's stern has been redesigned to feature "three levels of entertainment," including a relaxation area with sofas and sunpads partially shaded by the superstructure, a swimming pool, and a beach club furnished with designer sunpads. Despite these customisations, the vessel maintains ISA Yachts' signature exterior arches, with the superstructure set further forward to evoke the sleek proportions of a large sports coupé.

Accommodation includes four double cabins, along with a spacious full-beam owner's suite equipped with an office, double wardrobe, and his-and-hers bathroom. Additional quarters provide comfortable lodging for a crew of eight.

Powered by twin MTU engines, the yacht is projected to achieve a top speed of 20 knots and cover up to 3,600 nautical miles when cruising at 12 knots. The milestone comes during a bustling period for the Italian shipyard, marked by the launch of a new Extra Yachts model and the unveiling of the interior of the 49.8-metre, champagne-hued Anjelif, which premiered at this year's Monaco Yacht Show.
