Out of Office Brewery organized a charity drive for The Welcome Organization, where customers could donate canned food in exchange for aluminium cans containing its new beer.

Katie McBarron from Out of Office explained: "Expanding our product offering into a range of cans will help us share our beers with an even greater audience, and we're beginning with three of our most popular varieties."

The microbrewery is the 'highest above-ground level brewery in Ireland' and offers educational and hands-on brewery tours and tastings in its taproom every Friday and Saturday. The tours are led by their resident brewer and beer expert, Katie McBarron.

The Belfast charity provides a range of services supporting individuals affected by homelessness, including a drop-in centre, street outreach services, food and clothing donations, and crisis accommodation for women throughout the year.

McBaron remarked: "We're proud to use this launch to support the work of The Welcome Organisation. This is just one of many regular events and initiatives we will host in support of local charities and community groups."

To appreciate the sustainability drive, Kieran Hughes from Welcome Organisation motioned: "As a charity, we are committed to working to tackle the homelessness crisis in Northern Ireland, and this is only possible with the support of local businesses."

"Fun and engaging initiatives like the Out of Office Cans for Cans drive are beneficial, not just driving donations that help us to support homeless people in the area, but also in helping to reduce stigma and raise awareness around the many challenges faced by homeless people in Belfast," Hughes concluded.

In light of the increasing significance of recycling and environmental preservation, the 'Cans for Cans' charitable campaign is a commendable effort towards promoting the concept of aluminium can recycling. The campaign serves a dual purpose of raising awareness about the significance of recycling cans and providing support to the homeless community in Northern Ireland.
