Aludecor, one of India’s leading aluminium composite panel manufacturers renowned for its industry-defining innovations, has unveiled a new collection, the Mason Mark series. Inspired by the enduring appeal of concrete, this series pays homage to the craftsmanship of masons who have shaped architectural spaces for generations.
Featuring six new shades with more in the pipeline, Mason Mark captures the raw elegance of concrete architecture while promoting a more sustainable alternative. By recreating the look and feel of cement through aluminium composite panels, the series offers a bold aesthetic while helping reduce the environmental impact associated with traditional cement use.
At a townhall event today, Sourav Kabra, Director Sales at Aludecor, officially unveiled the new product in the presence of CMD Ashok Kumar Bhaiya, along with the full sales, production, and marketing teams.
The launch of a concrete-finish series was Aludecor’s response to a longstanding demand from architects for ACP designs inspired by one of the oldest architectural materials concrete. Gautam Saraswat, Marketing Head at Aludecor, shared, “Our strong tradition of listening closely to architects led by our CMD himself—has once again delivered results with the creation of Mason Mark.”
When it comes to environmental sustainability, aluminium composite panels (ACPs) have a clear edge over cement-based materials. Cement production is highly energy-intensive and a major source of greenhouse gas emissions. Products like Fibre Cement Boards, which rely heavily on cement, significantly contribute to the carbon footprint and offer limited recyclability.
“Mason Mark honours the skilled masons whose dedication and craftsmanship have shaped the spaces we call home and laid the foundation of our cities. This series further underscores Aludecor’s unparalleled prowess to complement architects’ unbound creativity,” added Sourav Kabra.
In contrast, aluminium is highly recyclable, making ACPs a more sustainable choice. The production process of ACPs also consumes far less energy compared to cement and steel, resulting in a substantially lower carbon footprint. This makes ACPs an environmentally responsible alternative in modern construction.
