IAI: June World Aluminum Output -3.2% On Month At 2.098M Tons

Total world aluminum output fell 3.2% on-month in June to its lowest level in seven months following production declines across all regions, the International Aluminium Institute said Wednesday.
Primary aluminum production fell to 2.098 million metric tons from 2.167 million tons in May, the IAI said.
Output was slightly higher compared with the same month of 2010, when production stood at 1.998 million tons.
