Access to renewable energy and modern technology helps Hydro produce aluminium in Norway with a carbon footprint, which is about 75 per cent less than global average.
Besides being an active market player in the Nordic power market, Hydro Energi is responsible for acquiring power for Hydro’s aluminium production.
The contract between Hydro Energi AS and Hafslund Eco Vannkraft AS is valid from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2029.
