
Hindalco Industries Limited has increased its aluminium products and aluminium ingot prices, with effect from November 30, following three back-to-back cuts on November 24, 25, and 29. Among Hindalco’s products prices, aluminium billets price has experienced a lift of INR 2,250 per tonne or 0.98 per cent to come in at INR 234,600 per tonne. On November 29, the price stood at INR 232,350 per tonne, seeing a cut of INR 2,500 per tonne from INR 234,850 per tonne on November 25.

Hindalco’s aluminium wire rod price has also been raised by INR 2,250 per tonne, with effect from November 30, to INR 231,600 per tonne. Similar to the billet price, the company’s aluminium wire rod price on November 29 also saw a cut of INR 2,500 per tonne from INR 231,850 per tonne to INR 229,350 per tonne.
Aluminium ingot price records no exception but also seen a rise of INR 2,250 per tonne, effective from November 30, from INR 218,250 per tonne to INR 220,500 per tonne.
Hindalco has raised its aluminium ingot and aluminium products prices, with effect from November 30, in response to the LME aluminium benchmark price growth of US$29 per tonne on November 29 from US$2,315.50 per tonne to US$2,341.50 per tonne.
Aluminium operations of the company, excluding those of its US arm Novelis Inc., generally account for nearly half of its total sales and 70% of its operating profit.
