Hindalco Industries Limited has raised its aluminium products price after cutting it on Friday, 04 June. With effect from Saturday 05 June 2021, aluminium billets price stands at INR 211,850 per tonne, up INR 1,750 per tonne or 0.83% from INR 210,100 per tonne on June 4.
The wire rods and aluminium ingots prices have increased by INR 1,750 per tonne each from June 4 to stand at INR 215,850 per tonne and INR 204,750 per tonne on Saturday, 05 June 2021.The prices were INR 214,100 per tonne and INR 203,000 per tonne on Friday, 04 June 2021.
The Indian aluminium producers generally link prices of its products to the three-month futures of aluminium on London Metal Exchange. The aluminium price stood at US$ 2412.5 per tonne on Friday, June 4, up from US$ 2386.5 per tonne on June 3.
Aluminium operations of the company, excluding those of its US arm Novelis Inc, generally account for nearly half of its total sales and 70% of its operating profit.
