Heesen Yachts’ eighth vessel in 5000 Aluminium Class Masa has reportedly started sea trials, after being launched in Oss early last month.
Masa’s exterior, designed by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects, displays key details including a "pelican beak bow" and "sporty mast", while her interior, designed by Cristiano Gatto , evolves “fresh and elegant” feature. A light palette of colours creates an atmosphere of “tranquillity”, the yard said.
The yacht’s all-aluminium, semi-displacement hull, on the other hand, has been designed and engineered by Heesen’s in-house team.
Accommodation is for 12 guests in five lower deck guest suites and a main deck master stateroom, and for nine crews, in addition.
Power will come from a pair of MTU 16V 4000 diesel engines for a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising range of 3,100 nautical miles at 11 knots.
