With the continuous development and growth of the aluminium processing industry in Liupanshui, Guizhou Liupanshui Shuangyuan Aluminium Company has decided to support the development of a recycled aluminium facility there.
Tian Haijun, general manager of Guizhou Liupanshui Shuangyuan Aluminum, stated that the aluminium and aluminium processing sector in Liupanshui continues to progress, the existing production capacity of Shuangyuan's electrolytic aluminium facility alone is insufficient to sustain the high-quality growth of the downstream industry.
"I will bring proposals to the provincial two sessions on the introduction of policies to support the development of recycled aluminum from the provincial level, such as taxation, energy, scientific and technological innovation, and talent," said Tian Haijun, general manager of Guizhou Liupanshui Shuangyuan Aluminum.
Steps taken to fill the gap
To address this gap, aluminium processing enterprises must concurrently focus on developing recycled aluminium as a complementary measure, fostering collective advancement within the aluminium industry.
However, several challenges are impeding the swift progress of recycled aluminium. These challenges include an unstable supply of raw materials, the need for process technology enhancements, and elevated production and operational costs.
These hurdles have resulted in a sluggish pace of development for recycled aluminium. Tian Haijun emphasized that overcoming these obstacles necessitates collaborative efforts from various enterprises and support at the policy level.
As a representative of the provincial People's Congress and a seasoned technical practitioner with over 30 years of involvement in the aluminium and aluminium processing industry, Tian Haijun is leading his enterprise with a firm commitment to safety and environmental protection.
He is actively driving the flagship enterprise's production and operation, innovative development, and project construction. The ultimate goal is to preserve and appreciate state-owned assets, leveraging the catalytic impact of state-owned enterprises to propel the high-quality development of the Liupanshui aluminium industry chain.
