Bauxites de Guinée's (CBG), one of the largest producers of bauxite in the world, is planning to increase its annual production capacity of bauxite to 22.5 million tonnes in the future, reported by MiningSink.
CBG is a joint venture between the Guinean Government (49%) and Halco Mining (51%) also a joint venture between Dadco Mining and Rio Tinto Alcan. Currently, the company produces 14 million tons of bauxite per year.

The Company exploits the world-class Sangarédi bauxite deposit in northwestern Guinea, recognized for its rich ore body containing more than 50 per cent alumina.
In 2016, Fluor was awarded an engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) contract to expand company’s bauxite mine in Kamsar, Guinea. The project will expand bauxite production upto 18.5 million tons per annum.
