Utility companies use aluminium wire for electrical transmission in power grids as it has a cost and weight advantages over copper wires. Aluminium wire is also used for power wiring of some aeroplanes.
The aluminium wire export market of France has been showcasing strong and steady during 2017-20. The export volume has been recorded 143,739 tonnes during 2017-19 and revenue generated stood $245.70 million. The projected export for 2020 has been analyzed at 44,431 tonnes and income to be generated might reach to $101.69, the highest figure in revenue generation within the last four years. When the 2020 export volume and revenue gets added with the previous three years it reflects 188,170 tonnes and $347.39 million respectively.
France has recorded an export volume of 44,380 tonnes of aluminium wires in 2017 with revenue generation stood at $60.11 million, whereas in 2018 the growth surged by 21.82%, as the export remained at 54065 tonnes, with 9685 tonnes of surplus volume from its preceding year and the revenue generation rose to $91.41 million.
In 2019 the aluminium wire export saw a dip by 19.36%, as the volume recorded was 45,294 tonnes, but the income surged to $94.18 million.
The 2020 analyzed export volume is again showing a dip, as the volume reflects 44,431 tonnes, though the revenue generation might expand to $101.69 million.
The major consuming countries of France aluminium wire exportation are Algeria, Austria, Belgium, Ivory Coast, Canada, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, French Polynesia, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Senegal, Slovenia, South Korea, etc.
