Ev Dynamics (Holdings) Limited, China’s primary supplier of new energy commercial vehicles, has bagged another purchase order from the Hong Kong Productivity Council to provide a fully electric bus for a non-governmental organisation (NGO) based in Hong Kong. This agreement succeeds two prior arrangements of the company with the Hong Kong Airport Authority and the Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society.
The production of the electric bus has been commissioned under a new purchase agreement between the Hong Kong Productivity Council and Ev Dynamics. This new bus will have a light aluminium alloy body frame with an immensely capable traction motor system. The vehicle will feature a full load-bearing electric bus chassis, high power yielding batteries ensuring stable power output, and other essential technological characteristics.
The application of the non-ferrous metal aluminium is quite ingenious because the bus will be lower in weight. Moreover, to keep the sustainability factor in mind, Ev Dynamics has also cut down the energy consumption rate turning it into an affordable and eco-friendly transport solution. Recently, there has been an uprising demand for electric vehicles worldwide due to their simplicity and cost-effectiveness.

The vehicle is supposed to be the first public electric bus made considering the infinite kinds of people travelling globally. This bus will be Hong Kong’s first vehicle with specialised seats for seniors and the physically disabled, featuring extra-low platforms for easy reach and ample area to place at least two wheelchairs and 33 regular seats.
The Transport department has approved the Group after proper inspection and successful project registration. By the end of 2023, Ev Dynamics has planned to install an Ev charger next to the service centre of this particular NGO in Tai Po and hopes that the supply will be over by that time. The Group will continue conducting the after-sales maintenance and repairing services for the NGO.
