Estathé, the iconic Italian tea beverage brand from the Ferrero Group, has teamed up with Crown to roll out a refreshing summer promotion in infinitely recyclable aluminium cans. The promotion features a sleek 330ml aluminium can, Crown's lightest, with an optimised weight. The vibrant campaign showcases a variety of humorous and relatable beach characters, posing the question to consumers: "Which beach type are you?"

To bring this promotion to life, Estathé collaborated with Crown's beverage team in EMEA to produce cans locally in Parma, Italy. The vibrant and creative designs result from a sophisticated manufacturing technique and flawless printing execution, showcasing the expertise of Crown's teams.

Crown's Colorful Accents technology

By leveraging its Colorful Accents technology, Crown efficiently printed all eight character variations, producing four unique designs in a single printing run. This method provides brands with both efficiency and flexibility, enabling the creation of pallets featuring a mix of designs.

In addition to the variable printing technique, Crown employed its HQP (High-Quality Print) technology to elevate Ferrero's intricate design graphics on each can. By utilising high-resolution printing plates, this technology ensures superior print quality with enhanced dot separation, bringing out nuanced shades of colours, creating depth, and adding vibrant richness to each design. The striking graphics are further enhanced with a matte finish, adding an element of elegance and a premium look to the packaging.

The partnership between Crown and Ferrero is not just about creating a new product line. It's about emphasising sustainability and commitment towards the circular economy. The aluminium cans used are endlessly recyclable, supporting a sustainable future. By launching this new product line in April, Crown and Ferrero are giving consumers in Italy a chance to collect each unique character featured on the cans while enjoying a responsibly packaged beverage.
