Envisage Technologies which is a part of the global Envisage Group has decided to install two new Belloti 5-axis CNC machines for its Herald way machining Centre in Coventry in the wake of April. An investment of £1.5 million has already been made for the procurement of the above stated machines along with the complete modernisation of its existing MECOF Agile 5.3 axis CNC machine. The organisation claims that the addition of these machines is going to be very productive for them. A facility close to this one, situated at Doyle Drive, Coventry, will also enjoy the fruits of this upgrade as it houses an existing MECOF Agile 5.3 machining centre.
New machines will help Envisage to cater to the high demand of the market for OEMs made of aluminium, composite and resin milled products etc. Time required will be indirectly proportional to products manufactured by the company which is quite an achievement in the Industrial sector, as we all know, time is money. Envisage has already designed and produced some marvellous products with prior examples consisting of large aluminium parts for aerospace clients and full-sized vehicle mock-ups for numerous leading automotive operations.
When upgraded, the new version of MECOF Agile 5.3 comes with a completely up to date Heidenhain CNC control system along with new drives to sufficiently improve programming, capability and accuracy.
Envisage pioneers in serving both Tier 1 customers and OEMs from automotive, aerospace, marine and the wider vehicular market, with the ability to machine large products for any given job. The new Bellotti machines can perform jobs up to 3.6m x 3m x 1m and the MECOF Agile 5.3 has both horizontal and vertical capabilities up to 12m x 3m x 1.5m.
“Envisage has strived to create the perfect bespoke production environment, and now with our latest investments we are able to machine large scale properties with unmatched precision, incredible speed and with the confidence that our advanced manufacturing capabilities will take our customer’s products to new heights,” explained Envisage CEO Tim Strafford.
To assure delivery on time, Envisage maintains extreme dexterity with high target production, 24 x 7 day and night shifts to keep the machines running smooth. The people working in the factories are highly skilled professionals and precision engineers who with their knowledge and meticulous attention ensure the framework of a given job. Customer satisfaction is the most important agenda for the company.
“To stay competitive in the advanced manufacturing market, organisations must ensure that their machines reflect their ethos, Envisage’s commitment to this principle has led us to identify an investment opportunity that has enabled us to remain at the cutting edge of machining through improved efficiency and with no compromise on quality. The new equipment is also a great companion to the full breadth of specialist manufacturing capabilities across the rest of our group.” concluded Tim Strafford.
Envisage Group collaborates with Envisage Concept Design & Engineering, Envisage Recruitment, Envisage Technologies and Envisage Classic & Bespoke. The company operates around four sites across Coventry, with international services in USA and India.
