Altech Batteries is dramatically growing its silumina anodes battery project, boosting production from 15 gigawatt hours (GWh) to an astonishing 120 GWh. This capacity increase, achieved during the final phases of the definitive feasibility study (DFS), is intended to address the increasing demand for silicon-type anodes in the electric vehicle (EV) industry. Satish Pai, Managing Director of Hindalco Industries, said the business intends to invest between INR 4,000 and INR 5,000 crore yearly. To the greatest extent feasible, the aluminium manufacturer is attempting to finish the projects using funds produced by the company's activities. Hindalco is planning a significant capital expenditure effort in addition to the previously announced INR 8,000 crore investments in a new alumina refinery and a 150-MW captive power plant. Mingdao Aluminium Taizhou Base's rooftop solar project's second phase was recently completed and fully deployed. It will provide a consistent supply of clean energy to the industrial sector, ushering in a new age of green energy promotion for the company.
