On February 20, He Shuping, secretary of the Guangyuan Municipal Party Committee, chaired the eighth meeting of entrepreneurs in Guangyuan City along with the Forum on aluminium ingot trade. During this session, he engaged in direct discussions with entrepreneurs and representatives from banking institutions, actively seeking their insights and suggestions regarding the development of supply chain finance and the expansion of the aluminium ingot trade.
About the meeting
He emphasized the critical need to thoroughly study and implement the guidance provided by the General Secretary during the visits to Sichuan and Guangzhou. Furthermore, he highlighted the necessity of fully executing the decisions and plans set forth by the Party Central Committee and the provincial Party Committee. The primary focus remains on the foundational industries, closely monitoring market dynamics, continually strengthening the base of the real economy, and prioritizing industrial development.
The concerted effort is directed towards swiftly advancing the aluminium-based new material industry, aiming to accelerate its growth trajectory. The clear objective is to construct a "hundred billion enterprises" platform and establish China's preeminent green aluminium hub. This endeavour seeks to redefine the landscape of the aluminium industry, emphasizing sustainable practices and economic vitality.

Guangyuan CPPCC Chairman and monitor for the city's aluminium-based new material industry, Xie Xiaodong, participated in the meeting. Before the assembly, attendees visited Sichuan Wanshun Zhongji Aluminum Co., Ltd., the Western China (Guangyuan) Aluminum Ingot Trade Center, and the Western Recycled Aluminum Trade Center in Guangyuan Economic and Technological Development Zone for an inspection.
During the session, the Guangyuan Economic and Technological Development Zone presented a report on the supply chain finance status of the aluminium-based new material industry. Liu Gang, Deputy General Manager of the China Reserve Stock Operation Management Center; Dai Ling, Deputy General Manager of Chengdu China Reserve Company; Zhong Qiguang, Business Director of Xiamen Xiangyu Group Company; and Wang Xuying, General Manager of Sichuan Jiuda New Materials Company, delivered speeches on aluminium ingot storage logistics, aluminium ingot transportation logistics, supply chain finance, and corporate financing requirements, respectively.

The Municipal Financial Work Bureau, the Guangyuan Branch of the People's Bank of China, the Guangyuan Branch of Sichuan Bank, and the Guangyuan Sub-branch of Dazhou Bank delivered presentations on supply chain finance.
He Shuping attentively listened to each speaker and, as the monitor for the aluminium-based new material industry class and representing the Guangyuan Economic and Technological Development Zone, urged for the prompt collection of opinions and suggestions. He emphasized the need for relevant departments to thoroughly study and implement measures to excel in all facets of supply chain finance and aluminium ingot trading. The goal is to propel Guangyuan's new aluminium-based material industry's advancement to heights.
In his address, on behalf of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, He Shuping extended gratitude to entrepreneurs and banking institutions for their contributions to Guangyuan's development. He underscored the imperative to vigorously promote supply chain finance, swiftly introduce a comprehensive set of institutional measures, establish a dedicated professional team, develop an information platform, conduct research on launching various financial products, and expedite nurturing a cadre of supply chain leaders.
