New Delhi gears up to host the sixteenth edition of the International Conference on Non-ferrous metals, scheduled for July 13 & 14, 2012 at Hotel Le Meridien.
Around 150 delegates from India and abroad, representing all sections of the non-ferrous fraternity have already registered for the event which is being organized by M/s Corporate Monitor, the event conceptualizers, in association with Alcircle.com - a global aluminium industry B2B portal of news, data and knowledge and TISS Consultancy Services.
The 2-day meet will essentially discuss & deliberate on the major issues concerning the non-ferrous metal industry and will also have a satellite session on “Technology & Equipment Upgradation for Aluminium & Copper smelting”. More than 30 technical papers and case studies are scheduled for presentation by the experts from the industry and the researchers on non-ferrous metallurgy and the academia covering the advanced technologies and equipment for processing of non-ferrous metals and other issues related to achieving energy efficiency and greener work environment. The conference will be featuring eminent speakers from all sides of the industry, and the discussion forum will enable delegates to share opinion with the key industry people on a number of trending topics.
The Conference organizers, as in previous years, will also felicitate eminent corporate personalities and researchers with “excellence awards” in appreciation of their contributions to the non-ferrous metal industry. Efforts are on to involve the Ministry of Mines, Government of India with the event and also ensure the Secretary of the Department to inaugurate the meet and give away the awards.
