Aluminium Stewardship Initiative has certified Crown Holdings, Inc. against Performance Standard V2 (2017) for producing aluminium can bodies at Crown Colombiana S.A. production facilities in Tocancipá, Colombia. This is the first facility in Colombia to receive ASI certification.
Earlier, Crown’s operations in Brazil, Mexico, and Thailand achieved ASI Performance Standard certification.
Crown Holdings obtained ASI Performance Standard certification after a stringent, independent, third-part audit by DNV Business Assurance Services UK Ltd. The audit took place before May 31, 2023, thus the company received Performance Standard V2 certification.
