At the Agricultural Machines, Implements, and Inputs Fair (Femagri), hosted from March 20 to 22 in Guaxupé (MG), Cooxupé, a coffee cooperative comprising over 19 thousand cooperative producer families, unveiled two exclusive launches. They introduced the premium version of Evolutto coffee in aluminium packaging and showcased the new aluminium packaging for the Prima Qualità brand.
The decision to utilise aluminium packaging was driven by the company's goal to enhance product preservation. Coffee packaging crafted from this material offers a myriad of benefits. It shields against light and humidity, ensuring the coffee's flavour and freshness are maintained for extended durations.
"Through research, we identified consumers' main doubts and concerns regarding the old Prima Qualità coffee packaging. In this way, we developed a more minimalist and sophisticated packaging, with more information about the quality of the products and the transparency of the cooperative, in addition to highlighting the sensorial profile of the coffee. We also included the Cooxupé seal, which generates curiosity when reading and values regional production and the cooperative's social concerns. All of this adds even more value to the product", stated Mário Panhotta da Silva, superintendent of Roasting and New Business at Cooxupé and SMC Specialty Coffees.
Moreover, aluminium packaging effectively blocks odours and external gases, guaranteeing product quality. Its durability and strength shield the coffee from physical harm during transportation and storage, while its lightweight nature and versatility add practicality. It's important to note that aluminium is highly recyclable, thereby contributing significantly to environmental sustainability.
