Chinese aluminum consumption outpacing record production

Chinese aluminum output has hit record highs but consumption is even stronger, helping to support prices, say analysts with Harbor Intelligence. Daily primary aluminum production rose 4.9% in June to a record high of 19 million annualized tons, Harbor says.
