China’s aluminium billet inventories continue to decline to 66,200 tonnes

As updated by Shanghai Metals Market, inventories of aluminium billet in China continued to decline this week on reduced arrivals.  Stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China stood at 66,200 tonnes as of June 24, a decrease of 5200 tonnes from Thursday June 18.

Inventories of aluminium billet in Foshan, and Wuxi, came in at 26,000 tonnes and 14,660 tonnes on Wednesday, 24 June 2020, down from 33,300 tonnes, and 14,680 tonnes on June 18. Stocks in Huzhou remained unchanged at 8,000 tonnes. In Changzhou and Nanchang, aluminium billet inventories increased to stand at 9,460 tonnes and 8,110 tonnes today, from 7,830 tonnes and 7,640 tonnes on June 18.
