The average spot alumina price recorded a decline of RMB 56 per tonne or 2.06 per cent on Tuesday, 09 July 2019, after remaining flat on June 8. Alumina price stood at RMB 2667 per tonne, from RMB 2723 per tonne.
Alumina price in East and Central registered a drop of RMB 50 per tonne each to stand at RMB 2680 per tonne and RMB 2670 per tonne. Their average price is expected to range at RMB2660- 2700 per tonne and RMB2660- 2680 per tonne. Alumina price North and South came in at RMB 2660 per tonne and RMB 2675 per tonne, down RMB 60 per tonne each. Their average price is expected to range at RMB2640- 2680 per tonne and RMB2620- 2730 per tonne.
Australian alumina FOB price dropped USD 2 per tonne to stand at USD 312 per tonne, as of July 9. The price was USD 314 per tonne on Monday, July 8.
On the other hand, A00 aluminium ingot price extends its downfall by RMB 60 per tonne or 0.44 per cent to RMB 13710 per tonne, as of July 9. The average price is expected to range at RMB13690-13730 per tonne.
Ingot price in Foshan decreased RMB 60 per tonne to RMB 13750 per tonne. Ingot price in Wuxi and Hangzhou declined RMB 40 per tonne and RMB 70 per tonne to stand at RMB13710 per tonne and RMB13720 per tonne. Aluminium ingot price in Chongqing, Shenyang, Tianjin, Linyi, and Gongyi stood at RMB 13740 per tonne, RMB13670 per tonne, RMB13700 per tonne, RMB13740 per tonne, and RMB13610 per tonne.
