China’s A00 aluminium ingot price slides down RMB60/t; Alumina price in Guangxi falls by RMB10/t
A00 aluminium ingot price has dipped by RMB 60 per tonne, halting at RMB 17,980 per tonne, as the Shanghai Metals Market recorded on Wednesday, November 2. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 17,960 per tonne and RMB 18,000 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at the discount price of RMB 10 per tonne and premium price of 30 per tonne.
The provinces in China have recorded fluctuating prices today, with the A00 aluminium ingot prices escalating in Wuxi and Hangzhou by RMB 190 per tonne to stop at RMB 18,050 per tonne and RMB 18,100 per tonne, followed by RMB 30 per tonne hike in Linyi closing at RMB 18,100 per tonne as well. All the other provinces in China witnessed falling aluminium prices; like in Shenyang, the aluminium ingot price shed RMB 70 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,000 per tonne. In Chongqing and Tianjin, the aluminium prices came in at RMB 18,190 per tonne and RMB 18,030 per tonne, with a drop of RMB 60 per tonne. The price of aluminium in Gongyi lost RMB 40 per tonne to close at RMB 18,100 per tonne. The aluminium ingot price in Foshan dived down RMB 30 per tonne, closing at RMB 18,230 per tonne.
In China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has plunged by RMB 30 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,833 per tonne on Wednesday, November 2.
The prices of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) both have lost RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB 26,300 per tonne and RMB 27,300 per tonne.
The average alumina price in China has dropped by RMB 2 per tonne, coming in at RMB 2,790 per tonne. The alumina price in Guangxi has gone down the graph by RMB 10 per tonne, closing at RMB 2,735 per tonne.
The aluminium alloy (A356) price has plummeted by RMB 50 per tonne arriving at RMB 19,250 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 19,100 per tonne and RMB 19,400 per tonne, says SMM. The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) also have lost by RMB 50 per tonne to close at RMB 18,950 per tonne and RMB 19,950 per tonne, respectively.
The aluminium powder price in China has lost RMB 0.10 per kg to settle at RMB 19.90 per kg, with average prices ranging between RMB 19.80 per tonne and RMB 20 per tonne.
