China’s A00 aluminium ingot price hikes by RMB160/t to RMB17,900/t; Average alumina price moves up by RMB3/t

On Tuesday, July 19, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price surged by RMB 160 per tonne to settle at RMB 17,900 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to orbit between RMB 17,880 per tonne and RMB 17,920 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a discount price of RMB 30 per tonne and a premium price of RMB 10 per tonne.

As per the SMM data, the price in Gongyi and Foshan has hiked by RMB 140 per tonne to come in at RMB 17,810 per tonne and RMB 17,820 per tonne. The price in Wuxi and Hangzhou has also spiked by RMB 150 per tonne to score at RMB 17,890 per tonne and RMB 17,940 per tonne. On the same day in Shenyang and Tianjin, the price has expanded by RMB 140 per tonne to stop at RMB 17,880 per tonne and RMB 17,900 per tonne. In Linyi and Chongqing, the price has escalated by RMB 130 per tonne and RMB 100 per tonne to record at RMB 17,950 per tonne and RMB 17,890 per tonne.

The average alumina spot price has moved up by RMB 3 per tonne to peg at RMB 2,967 per tonne. Only in Shanxi, the price has climbed up by RMB 10 per tonne to stand at RMB 2,905 per tonne.

In China, the domestic price of low carbon has grown by RMB 133 per tonne to record at RMB 18,419 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have ascended by RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB 25,900 per tonne and RMB 26,900 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (A356) price has hiked by RMB 150 per tonne to close at RMB 19,000 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to be orbit between RMB 18,900 per tonne and RMB 19,100 per tonne. The aluminium alloy (ADC12) price and (A380) price have remained restrained at RMB 17,700 per tonne and 18,700 per tonne.

The aluminium powder price in China has inched up by RMB 0.1 per kg to record at RMB 19.7 per kg, with average prices ranging between RMB 19.6 per kg and RMB 19.8 per kg.
