China’s A00 aluminium ingot price goes up by RMB110/t; Alumina price in Henan dwindles down RMB30/t

A00 aluminium ingot price has escalated by RMB 110 per tonne to close at RMB 18,660 per tonne, as the Shanghai Metals Market recorded on Thursday, September 22. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,640 per tonne and RMB 18,680 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at discount prices of RMB 70 per tonne and RMB 30 per tonne.

The provinces in China have seen irregular aluminium prices today, with A00 aluminium ingot prices declining the highest in Wuxi and Hangzhou by RMB 140 per tonne to RMB 18,540 per tonne and RMB 18,560 per tonne. The price of aluminium in Foshan has witnessed an increase of RMB 130 per tonne stopping at RMB 18,680 per tonne, while in Gongyi the aluminium price has risen by RMB 110 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,580 per tonne. The aluminium prices in Shenyang and Tianjin have recorded an RMB 80 per tonne boost to settle at RMB 18,610 per tonne and RMB 18,680 per tonne, respectively. The price of aluminium in Chongqing has spiked by RMB 70 per tonne to close at RMB 18,670 per tonne. In Linyi, the aluminium price has gained RMB 60 per tonne to close at RMB 18,660 per tonne.

In China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has earned RMB 130 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,283 per tonne on Thursday, September 22.

According to the data shown by SMM, high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have accumulated RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB 26,800 per tonne and RMB 27,800 per tonne, respectively.

The average alumina price in China has slumped by RMB 11 per tonne halting at RMB 2,903 per tonne. The price of alumina in Henan has seen a plunge of RMB 30 per tonne closing at RMB 2,965 per tonne. On the same day, alumina price in Guangxi also dropped by RMB 10 per tonne to RMB 2,880 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (A356) price has gone up the graph by RMB 100 per tonne arriving at RMB 20,050 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 19,900 per tonne and RMB 20,200 per tonne, says SMM.

The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have shown no alteration at all.

The aluminium powder price in China has heightened by RMB 0.10 per kg to settle at RMB 20.60 per kg, with average prices ranging between RMB 20.50 per kg and 20.70 per kg.
