About the event

Member from the Management Committee of Yuncheng Economic and Technological Development Zone emphasised that as the "chain owner" of the aluminium and magnesium deep processing industrial chain in Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province, the company will continue to embrace this role.

Many important officials, such as a professor from the North University of China, the Deputy General Manager of Chinalco Shanxi New Materials, and others, attended the event. Leveraging its technological advantages, Chinalco Shanxi New Materials aims to continuously enhance and extend the industrial chain in four key areas: new aluminium alloy materials, refined alumina, resource utilisation of bulk solid wastes, and extraction of minor metals.

Purpose of the survey

Lu Ruopeng thoroughly investigated the support situation for the aluminium alloy industry around Yuncheng Hejin. He noted that the Yuncheng area has certain advantages regarding non-ferrous resources such as aluminium and copper.

The purpose of this survey was not only to understand the fundamental aspects of the non-ferrous industries and identify high-value-added industries with growth potential but also to emphasise the crucial role of the government in providing policy support and services. This collaborative effort aims to pinpoint the future development direction of the regional economy, enhance support for emerging industries, foster new quality productivity, and contribute to the high-quality development of the local economy.

Lu Ruopeng and his team also visited the enterprise exhibition centre to gain deeper insights into its development process, production and operations, and industrial scale. They also toured the hard aluminium alloy production site within the aluminium processing division to observe the enterprise's practical approaches to scientific and technological innovation and industrial advancement.
