Founded in 2003, China-based Yongjie New Materials Co., Ltd has recently developed a new aluminium alloy brand called the 1A25. The 1A25 aluminium alloy grade produced by the R&D team at Yongjie New Materials has successfully passed the review of the National Non-ferrous Metals Standardization Technical Committee.
Yongjie New Materials specialises in the R&D and manufacturing of high-performance, high-precision aluminium alloy plates and foils, offering comprehensive aluminium alloy material solutions. After undergoing review, publicity, and other formal procedures, the alloy was successfully registered on July 19, 2024.
Developed by the Yongjie Research and Development Center, the alloy's registration application was submitted to the National Non-ferrous Metals Standardization Technical Committee on December 22, 2023. The newly registered alloy boasts several key advantages, including high tensile strength, excellent elongation, superior corrosion resistance, and good electrical conductivity.
The 1A25 alloy is primarily used for the positive electrode current collector in power batteries. Its high tensile strength and elongation properties make it an ideal choice for battery cells with high compaction density, demonstrating its potential to enhance the performance of power batteries.
Yongjie New Materials has earned several accolades, including being recognised as one of "China's Top Ten Aluminum Sheet and Strip Enterprises," a "Specialised and New" enterprise, and a green, low-carbon factory in Zhejiang Province. Its trademark, "Yongjie Aluminum" (YJL), has been acknowledged as a well-known brand in China and a famous export brand in Zhejiang, underscoring the company's commitment to quality and innovation.
