CH Evensen Industriovner (C.H. Evensen) a subsidiary of Vow ASA (Vow) has successfully signed a €1.3 million agreement to drop-ship a preheating furnace for an aluminium manufacturer, which the company is yet to disclose the name.
Henrik Wulff, the Managing Director of CH Evensen, said: “We are thrilled to supply one of the world’s leading aluminium producers with a state-of-the-art furnace. As CH Evensen’s technology is energy efficient, our solution is attractive from an environmental point of view. This contract demonstrates our attractiveness within industrial heat treatment.”
CH Evensen is experienced in the art of developing, designing and producing industrial furnaces and accessories to be applied in a variable range of heat treatment techniques and implementations.
By Q1 of 2023, the company is scheduled to transport an electric furnace to one of the world’s leading aluminium producers for preheating aluminium ingots.
CEO of Vow ASA, Henrik Badin remarked: “This is the second contract of significant size announced in just a couple of weeks, underlining the strong position CH Evensen has within industrial processes that demand very high temperatures. Increasing our customer base, this contract demonstrates the strong position the company has among large industrial players in power-intensive industries, who all are looking to lower their emissions.”
To lower emissions and improve operational efficiencies, CH Evenson provides hot-dip galvanising solutions and pyrolysis along with heat treatment furnaces and ovens.
Recently on eyeing the growing market for battery production and recycling, the company is eager to construct more solutions.
CH Evensen contributes exponentially to Vow’s ‘green technology offering’ which is evaluated to grow notably in the years to come as industries across the world are on track to reduce their dependency on fossil fuels or carbon.
