On Thursday, September 28, the Carl Perkins Civic Center in downtown Jackson hosted the 18th annual RIFA Canstruction event, generously sponsored by Foundation Bank. The evening, which benefited RIFA, had sixteen participating teams. These teams sculpted with canned products, representing sustainability with materials like aluminium cans. The sculptures that won were recognised for their originality and dedication to this philanthropic objective.
Conner Real Estate, Jackson Energy Authority, Delta Faucet Company, Jackson State Community College, etc., are some of the organisations among those sixteen competing teams. They exhibited the diversity that aluminium has in every spectrum of life. From designing to aerospace, from arts to science, aluminium is present in the realm, embracing sustainability and eco-friendliness.
