This investment has also unlocked impressive water and energy savings. Thanks to an advanced reverse osmosis system, water treatment capacity has soared by 67 per cent. Even more impressive, the new canning line fills cans at room temperature, eliminating energy-heavy cooling processes and slashing energy use by around 23 per cent each year compared to other lines in CCEP's network. As one of Australia's largest beverage makers, CCEP takes pride in crafting, distributing, and selling the beloved drinks Aussies know and love all while powering local jobs and boosting the economy.
"Our manufacturing philosophy is centred on making it where we sell it, limiting the distance our product travels and minimising the emissions tied to it where possible. Investments like this allow us to make more of our most popular products even closer to the end-consumer. This approach not only reduces our environmental impact by minimising transportation but boosts overall efficiency, helping to keep shelves stocked." added Rodriguez.
