Cash Price Of Chinese Aluminum Sees Small Price Drop

On June 27, 2012, the Chinese aluminum cash price fell by 1.9 percent, making it the day’s biggest mover. Chinese aluminum billet prices saw a 1.9 percent decline. The price of Chinese aluminum bar held steady. The price of Chinese aluminum scrap continues hovering just under $2,600 per metric ton for the fifth day in a row.
The 3-month price of aluminum saw a 0.4 percent decline on the LME to $1,851 per metric ton. On the LME, the primary aluminum cash price fell 0.4 percent to $1,810 per metric ton. Indian aluminum cash price gained 0.3 percent.
