Capral completes distribution acquisition of Allyman Aluminium

Capral Aluminium, one of Australia's leading providers of aluminium products and associated services, finally completed its acquisition of Wollongong, New South Wales-based Allyman Aluminium on Friday, February 3.

According to the firm, the acquisition is a part of Capral's goal to grow its distribution footprint so that it has Aluminum Trade Centers and distribution hubs strategically positioned all around Australia. This acquisition was announced on December 16, 2022, and was finally fulfilled in February 2023.

Since its establishment in 2012, Allyman has actively served manufacturers and tradespeople in the neighbourhood and beyond. As per the sources, the South-Wales-based aluminium distributor will change its name to Capral's third Aluminium Centre in NSW after the acquisition.

"Capral has extrusion Manufacturing facilities located in Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, and Western Australia, all supplying world-class locally-made products at short lead times. This is an exciting acquisition for Capral as we expand our distribution footprint throughout Australia. The South Coast is a growth area for Industrial trades and Manufacturing, and we look forward to being able to support the needs of local businesses," said Tony Dragicevich, Capral CEO.
