United Dutch Breweries has reportedly collaborated with CANPACK for the production of limited-edition 330 ml aluminium cans of its flagship drink, Royal Dutch Premium Lager, using Quadromix can printing technology. This initiative by United Dutch Breweries is to celebrate football with the world and create a real standout on the shelf.
{alcircleadd}For this special edition, the classic Royal Dutch label is printed in specially commissioned lithography on colourful cans that capture all the emotion and drama of football. This will give a special character to the flagship drink, a superior and refined lager in the best Dutch tradition, respected around the world for its classic flavour and rich history.
United Dutch Breweries that carries a brewing heritage of 500 years has a long-term relation with CANPACK. The foundation of United Dutch Breweries dates back to 1806, when the Post Horn brewpub was founded in Tilburg, the Netherlands. Its craftmanship in brewing high quality beer eventually reached the Dutch royal court, resulting in the appointment of the business as an official supplier in 1895.
The brew master uses only natural spring water, the finest hops, and the best harvest of barley malt to give Royal Dutch the taste of original.
Krystyna Rojewska, Sales Manager at CANPACK, said: “Brand relationships with consumers are enriched by these mixed design sets because they are actively engaged with the product while it is still on the shelf as they choose their own combination of cans. The Quadromix technology is ideal for creating limited and collectible editions that boost the perception of a brand’s uniqueness.”
“Building consumer engagement in this way makes it the perfect choice for special events like a football tournament,” she added.
