
The economy of Cameroon is a mixed economic system that incorporates a variety of private freedom, combined with centralized economic planning and government regulation. The country is a member of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS).

The central African nation at the Gulf of Guinea, Cameroon imported 935 tonnes of aluminium stranded wires during 2019-20 and the expenditure accounted for the import was $3.94 million.

In 2019, Cameroon imported just 287 tonnes of aluminium stranded wires, with an expenditure counted to $0.96 million, whereas, in 2020, the import saw a robust growth by 125.78%, as the import volume up-surged to 648 tonnes and the expenditure also soared to $2.98 million.
The import for 2021 has also been analysed with further growth of 49.53%, as the import volume is estimated to rise at 969 tonnes and the earnings to stand high at $4.65 million.
The major trading destinations for Cameroon’s import of aluminium stranded wire are Belgium, France, India, Portugal, etc.
