BORBET Leichtmetallräder has joined the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) as a new Industrial User member. This brings the total number of ASI Members to 151.
BORBET is one of the leading manufacturers of light alloy wheels worldwide for the automobile industry. The company acquired BORBET Austria in Ranshofen for the supply of products to = the automotive industry.
“As one of the leading manufacturers of light alloy wheels, the BORBET Group is proud to join the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative and thus ensure more transparency and sustainability in the aluminium industry. Our goal is not only to make our own production more sustainable, but also to consider our entire value-added chain and work on continuous improvement. We can only look forward to a better future if everyone contributes to a more sustainable value chain,” said Margot Borbet.
ASI is a global, multi-stakeholder, non-profit standards setting and certification organisation. It aims to recognise and foster the responsible production, sourcing and stewardship of aluminium.
