Touted as the market's most advanced urban micro-mobility vehicle, the Bo M e-scooter promises to deliver a smooth, stable, and safe ride for city commuters. With a range of up to 50km, integrated Lock and Load hooks, an 800-lumen front headlight, a top speed of 21mph, and 80% recharge in under three hours, the Bo M is packed with features that make it the perfect companion for urban travel. The 22kg e-scooter is incredibly easy to operate: simply push it forward, step onto the Airdeck, toggle the accelerator and you're good to go.

What stands out immediately is the smoothness of the ride, with very little vibration from the ground. Plus, the steering column is designed in such a way that losing control is virtually impossible. The aluminium monocurve chassis is key to Bo M's design, allowing for the integration of multiple innovations without adding complexity for the user. The use of aluminium has also made the structure extremely lightweight and easily manoeuvrable.

The CEO and co-founder of Bo M, Morgan, illustrated: "The reason it is important is it is the first-ever welded aluminium monocoque structure in our space. It gives us package space, but also, it means we have a separate steerer column like a steerer shaft, so we fit our Safesteer mechanism around that."

He also explained: "Little things like physics is something on our side - rather than having two bearings 50 mil apart with a lever a metre long trying to destroy them, we now have two bearings a metre apart with a little lever. It is all those little things that start to shift this from being 1,000kms and throw it away to a 10,000kms and service it. It is a very different psychology."

Future of Aluminium in Transportation Sector

The Bo M two-wheeled e-scooter claims to be the world's most sophisticated urban micro-mobility vehicle, providing a smooth, safe and stable ride. The handlebar features a Safesteer system that delivers predictable steering correction up to a 50-degree turn angle. The Airdeck footpad reduces road vibrations, isolating the feet from any vibrations from the road surface. The powertrain includes a high torque motor with a peak power output of 1200W and a top speed of up to 21mph, with a battery capacity of 655Wh; delivering a range of 50km. Bo M will be available for shipping from February 2024 but has been tagged with a premium price.
