Benelli Motorcycles unveiled its upgraded version of TRK 502X around the middle of May 2022 in China. The new Benelli TRK 502X has disposed of the heavy and clumsy steel swingarm, replacing it with aluminium alloy pivoted fork. This alteration has further decreased the average weight of the component by 3.6 kilograms which is equivalent to 8 pounds.
The Chinese release undoubtedly has more choices to indulge in, which the European or US release lack. Benelli has carefully discarded the unwanted weight off its vehicle, giving it feather-like agility and swiftness. Moreover, the company claims that the modified buttons and features in the bike might appeal to a generation of technology buffs. The 2022 edition has already witnessed the inclusion of a tire pressure sensor and 'heated grips' as its USP.
Other mentionable features are spoked wheels allowing tubeless tire installation and a fully-coloured TFT dash. Although fans outside China are eager to own this latest version of their favourite Benelli bike series, TRK 502X, it is calming to find organisations focusing on sustenance alongside innovation.
Despite the structural and software-based evolutions, the pulse section of the bike remains stagnant, ignited by a 500cc parallel-twin engine that yields 47.6hp and 46Nm. Similarly, the TRK 502X blueprint records no notable change other than a few attractive colour combination choices.
