The more than 200 workers represented by the University and Allied Workers Union (UAWU), are upset at a decision of the management to make changes to the company’s incentive scheme. TWO more districts in the province of Bua have been identified for bauxite mining, says Commissioner Northern Lieutenant Colonel Ilai Moceica. He said the districts of Nasarawaqa and Wainunu have been marked for mining operations. Over two lakh tribals are expected to be adversely affected due to the two aluminium plants coming up in the tribal areas of Vishakhapatnam district in Andhra Pradesh.
