Bang & Olufsen, a leading brand in the audio industry, has recently launched a new version of its Beosound A5 Bluetooth speaker, which features a unique design that impressively uses aluminium. The new version, dubbed ‘Spaced Aluminium,’ is wrapped entirely in aluminium and stands out from the previous versions, which flaunted Nordic Weave and Dark Oak finishes.
The Spaced Aluminium version of the Beosound A5 boasts an array of 3,500 individual aluminium discs that form the speaker grille. Unlike conventional speaker grilles, conventionally designed with circular patterns, the Spaced Aluminium cover features two layers of aluminium that give the illusion of the discs floating, and the sound is channelled through the spaces in between. This design offers the speaker a unique and visually appealing look while providing excellent audio quality.
The Beosound A5 also offers a range of impressive features, including 280W power, IP65 water and dust protection, a rechargeable battery with 12 hours of playtime, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for connectivity, and a wireless charger built into the top surface. Additionally, the new features of automatically stereo pairing two A5 speakers that are physically close to each other and the Fluid Sweet Spot feature that can alter the sound output of the two speakers for the optimized listening position determined by the phone make it a valuable addition to the audio industry.
