Ball Corporation celebrates as its four standout facilities earned honours as "Plant of the Year"

Four standout facilities of Ball Corporation, an American aluminium manufacturing company in Colorado, have received the prestigious award "Plant of the Year" in various regions across the globe. These regions include Paraguay and Manaus in South America, the Kettering plant in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and the Bowling Green facility in North & Central America.

Three cheers for Paraguay & Manaus

Paraguay continues to set the benchmark for the third time in a row by earning the Dream Team Award. The award was not only provided on the grounds of production but also by the people working within the facility and their dedication to meeting the purpose of all the aluminium cans made. 

Moreover, the Paraguay team believes quality is not something to set but a mindset to achieve—such agility among all the employees working in the Paraguay facility to meet the highest standards. The team's resilience, dedication and collaborative work make the plant stand out exceptionally.

On the other hand, the Manaus plant has also received recognition for safety, which is deemed the highest priority and is looked at in every aspect. Thanks to the culture of the plant, which has strengthened over the years, diligently follows procedures, respects the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and never takes a shortcut. 

The Manaus plant, in 2024, received another award for maintaining the highest safety score in South America. 

Bowling Green: Two-time winner 

Bowling Green, for the second time, has been named Ball Operational Excellence NCA Plant of the Year. This has been provided to this facility due to its steadfast commitment towards performance and teamwork. 

The team of the Bowling Green plant was assembled four years ago, and as of now, it is a hustler for collaboration, with trust, shared excellence and support for each other. 

Kettering: New but already a winner 

Kettering is the newest facility set up by the Ball Corporations within the EMEA region, and the plant received the BPEMEA Plant of the Year 2024 award. This has been Kettering's most significant achievement since its second year of operation. 

With operations starting in 2022, Kettering has expanded its overall operations, and the results have skyrocketed in terms of having a diversified workforce, developing a culture of innovation, and being committed to continuous improvement.
